    Enjoy a 17th century Christmas at Weston Park as the stately home reveals a line-up of festive retreats and gourmet experiences including brand new afternoon tea and twixmas events. The mansion house will be beautifully decorated, bringing all the magic and wonder of the season to life.

    Weston has added three new Christmas events to the line-up including Festive Afternoon Tea in the Dining Room, Twixmas Sunday Lunch and late night Christmas Shopping preview evenings in the Granary Deli.

    Christmas Food & Craft Fayre – Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December
    With over 80 stalls showcasing the finest local produce and handmade crafts.
    The Fayre is a great place to start shopping for thoughtful and unusual handmade gifts and festive food. Visitors can take a ride through the woods on the miniature railway and visit the House, which will be beautifully decorated for Christmas, to find out more about how the festive season was celebrated both past and present.

    Entry to the Christmas Fayre costs £1 per person (under 4’s go free). House admission costs £2.00 per person. The event runs from 10am – 4pm.

    NEW Christmas Shopping Evenings in the Granary Deli – Thursday 27th November, 4th, 11th and 18th December
    With a glass of mulled wine in hand these new Christmas preview evenings are a great opportunity to pick up some great ideas for festive food, gifts and treats. The Deli team will be introducing their Christmas range with plenty to taste and sample from the deli counter. For those in need of inspiration Head Chef Guy Day has put together recipe cards and hints and tips on how to have a stress free (and delicious) Christmas in the kitchen.

    Free Entry, complimentary glass of mulled wine – 5.30pm – 8pm

    NEW for 2014: Festive Afternoon Tea – Tuesday 16th December
    Weston Park is offering afternoon tea on a decidedly festive theme.
    The Dining Room will be decked with candles and twinkling trees, providing an enchanting setting to enjoy a selection of treats inspired by the flavours of the season.

    Traditional Christmas Dining in the House
    Saturday 6th, Friday 12th and Saturday 20th December
    Indulge in a three-course banquet prepared by the Head Chef. During the champagne reception guests can make themselves at home in some of the grandest parts of the house before enjoying a three-course dinner in either the Dining Room or Music Room.

    Dinner £80 per person includes champagne reception, three-course dinner, coffee and homemade petit-fours


    Christmas and New Year Walks
    Christmas Ramble – Sunday 21st December
    New Year’s Walk – Sunday 4th January 2015
    Head Gardener Martin Gee will lead two guided walks during the festive period where visitors will get to explore the estate and learn more about this stunning Capability Brown landscape. The bracing walks take in sites of historical interest as well as areas of the park off the beaten track.
    Both walks also include a look inside the Temple of Diana, the 18th century James Paine folly that forms an integral part of Brown’s vision for the estate. Originally built for Sir Henry Bridgeman, visitors will see inside the glazed conservatory and circular tea room. Walks start at 10.30am

    Adults £5.50, Children £3.50 and Seniors £5.00 payable on the day in the Granary Deli & Café.

    Christmas Opening – Monday 22nd – Wednesday 31st December (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
    Walk off those Christmas indulgences and escape from the wrapping paper with a walk around the Park. Landscaped by the legendary Capability Brown in the 18th century there are miles of woodland walks, lakes and follies to explore.
    The Granary Grill & Deli will be open serving freshly brewed coffee, breakfast baps, homemade cakes, hearty lunches and light bites.

    £2 per person 10am – 4pm (Last admission 3pm)

    NEW “Twixtmas” Sunday Lunch (28th December)
    A festive Sunday lunch in the Dining Room will be followed by a chance to blow away the cobwebs with a walk through the gardens and parkland. Perfect for those planning a late celebration or having friends to stay in the lead up to the New Year.
