mpThe home of Burleigh Pottery has undergone a major restoration by the Princes Regeneration Trust

The Prince’s Regeneration Trust (PRT) bought the Middleport Pottery buildings and land in 2011 to save and restore them with a three-year, £9-million project. PRT has regenerated the site so it can also function as a visitor destination showcasing its history and heritage and that of Burleigh pottery. The business of Burleigh remains a separate entity and we continue to make ceramics as we always have done, now as tenants of Middleport Pottery. This means the fantastic Grade II* listed factory will be preserved and restored not only for Burleigh but for everyone.

Visitors can step back in time, find out about the manufactoring history of Burleigh and the Pottery process. There’s a museum and a bottle kiln to step inside, you a can also see the mould store.  The beautiful new canal side coffee shop offers teas coffees and snacks.
